Welcome to the Division of Pathology Education
The UIC Department of Pathology's Division of Pathology Education endeavors to achieve excellence in pathology education across the medical education continuum, including undergraduate medical education, graduate medical education, continuous professional development (continuing medical education), and graduate studies.
The Department offers several educational programs, which are overseen by the Division of Pathology Education:
- M2 Pathology Course at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago - Chicago campus
- Medical student electives
- Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology Residency
- Hematopathology, Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, Surgical Pathology, and Ophthalmic Pathology Fellowships
- Professional Development seminars
- "Best Practices in Pathology Education" seminars
- Graduate Studies in Pathology, with plans to accept new students for the 2008-2009 academic year
