Bio:

I direct the UIC Cytogenetics Laboratory, which performs routine cytogenetic, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and comparative genomic hybridization/SNP analysis to detect congenital genomic abnormalities as well as cancer abnormalities.  My research interests flow from what’s happening in the clinical lab.
